Peckham's Skyline is quite monotone beside the 2 towers. For my project one of the ideas was to not ruin the skyline, however, emplemanting bridges and building above the current urban fabric meant I was going to go over the average building height in Peckham, which is 12m.
I created the bridges in a way that it could become part of the multicultural aspect of Peckham. It is not only a way of travel but an activity in itself which can be something to do alone of with other people.
The buildings are created so they would seem lightweight and non destructive of the urban fabric. The element of glass, fluid lines and greenery are key elements to this as they bring comfort.
