Photography has the capacity of capturing a moment, a shadow and intricate details. To me, it is another passion, I enjoy experimenting with my camera and searching for the perfect detail that might inspire me in the future.

POMPEII, CITY OF ASHES

Walking through Pompeii I experienced many emotions. Due to the many paintings, which not only add life to this ghost city, they narrate everyday life in Pompeii and told us about its history. The roads and building layouts demonstrated how they made their commerces functioned and showed the origins of road traffic codes. Through jewellery and their temples, I was able to know about their beliefs and their fears.

It was truly an enriching experience.

MATERA, THE CITY BUILT IN THE MOUNTAINS

During the summer of 2018, on my trip across Italy, I was fortunate to discover the beautiful city of Matera.

This architecture fascinated me. People were able to adapt to their surroundings and create a camouflaged city. There are many arches across the city which stabilise the houses. It reminded me of Venice if it were on a hill. Even though the city seams blunt, there are touches of colour, impressive perspectives and golden interior churches.

OSTUNI, THE WHITE CITY

Ostuni the white city on the hill. The colours in the city are brought by vegetation, colour tiled roofs, objects and the stained glass.

VENICE, THE CITY ON WATER

A fascinating and curious city. I always felt observed walking around. Everywhere you go, the eyes of all the statues on the cities rooftops look down. The evening glow truly brings out that aspect. The geometry and contrast in Venice are amazing. The architecture reveals other cultures that were adapted to Venice. The city of love and light versus the city of suffering and death. City of mystery.

BARCELONA, GAUDI'S CITY

Barcelona taught me to believe in crazy ideas. Be passionate about your creations and never give up. This city has different types of architecture. It is diverse yet each part compliments the other. In my photographies here I tried to experience various perspectives and ways of how to capture details.
